This is a relatively small amount compared to the 25 best universities in the world, whose average income is $ 5 for the Foundation. € 9 billion. Conclusions The overall performance of the Dutch universities for the rest of the world over is very good. Despite not being represented in the top 25 universities in the world, they have a very good overall performance with a high number of universities per million inhabitants in the World’s Top-500. Another positive point is that most Dutch universities are young and rose to the top 500 universities in the world for a relatively short period of time. The good performance of all Dutch universities are likely related to factors such as good management practice, the high level of public (and private) resources for the Dutch universities and the academic tradition that exists in the Netherlands.
